Woven Word is a safe space where I feel that I can really be myself. I've written some of my favorite poems and stories and met unforgettable friends.

We start with chatting and reading poetry out loud. Sometimes there is an example related to a writing prompt. We offer many prompts to get the creative juices going, including a suggested exercise, line prompts, words lists, and a group brainstorm. All approaches are welcome. We write for 30 minutes. Writers are invited to share their pieces and receive affirmative feedback. There is a social/snack break in the middle.

And the end of our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time."
