In Person/Hybrid Teen Writers Workshop in Hadley, Ages 12-18 Wednesday 4:30-6:30pm, Session II, 11/30 - 1/25
We will meet as a hybrid workshop; usually in person (with writers welcome to join virtually). A few if sessions will be fully virtual (TBD).
We begin with a quick chat/check in and a brainstorm, followed by a reading (either poetry or a prompt example). We create prompts together and draw on regular Woven Word prompts, offering lots of prompt choices. Writers are welcome to ignore the prompts and work with on going material. After writing, we share our work and make affirmative comments on what is working in each writer's piece. There's a snack/social break in the middle of the Read and Response section. At the end of the year all participating writers are invited to join our Spring Reading/Potluck.
